Accessibility

Our commitment

Aricase is a private service provided by Arc and Delta Ltd. We are subject to the Equality Act 2010, which requires us to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled users can access our service on an equal basis with others.

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our accessibility benchmark and are working towards meeting this standard across Aricase.

What we support

  • Keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse.
  • Screen reader support — forms, modals, and status updates are correctly labelled and announced.
  • Colour contrast — all informational text meets the WCAG 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio.
  • Skip links — a visible skip link appears on keyboard focus to bypass navigation.
  • Heading structure — pages use a logical heading hierarchy to support assistive technology navigation.
  • Text resize — the interface remains usable when text is resized up to 200% in the browser.

Known limitations

  • Case documents (PDFs) — PDFs generated by Aricase are not fully screen-reader accessible. They lack semantic structure tags (PDF/UA), which means screen readers may not read them in a logical order. If you need an accessible version of your case document, please email support@aricase.ai with the subject line “Accessible document request” and we will provide a plain-text or Word document alternative.
  • Some complex interactive components — we are progressively improving interactive widgets such as the evidence picker and wizard flows to meet full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance. Known gaps are addressed on an ongoing basis.
